We have frequently heard from you that you value opportunities to support positive values in purchases that you make and in making choices about what you wear on your beautiful bodies during the time that you are enjoying your fitness classes at Maya. So Maya Whole Health is committed to offering fitness apparel and goods that meet high standards of sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices. As the new Retail Manager at Maya, I have been reviewing and refreshing our offerings in the Maya boutique since the beginning of the year. When choosing brands to carry in the boutique and carry the Maya logo, I look at factors such as a company's transparency, commitment to using sustainable fabrics, and manufacturing processes that are both eco-friendly and human friendly. We also want our clothing to fit every body type and make everyone who puts it on feel amazing!
We have developed a great relationship with prAna over the years. This company has consistently met or exceeded our expectations for ethical manufacturing and corporate responsibility, and we are excited to see some of the great new styles they have rolled out this year. We have also brought in Leo Star Athletica, which is great new fitness line, based just across the border, in Canada. We expect to bring in styles from AyAyAy in coming months and continually search the globe for other lines of great fitness apparel that is stylish, comfortable, and provides options for a wide range of healthy body sizes and shapes. And we're always open to suggestions!
Here are some of our favorite new styles by prAna. Their Spring 2014 line is filled with amazing jewel toned colors and fun prints. The Cassidy Capri is my personal favorite. These pants are so soft and cozy, but at the same time amazingly figure flattering. Pair them with a sports bra and the Luca Tank and you have a perfectly chic and comfy outfit for yoga, running, or lounging around the house.
