Maya's Studio Updates in Response to the COVID-19
The health and well being of our community has always been a priority at Maya, and we continue to emphasize that as we navigate this uncertain time. In response to the COVID-19 health pandemic, our team has cultivated a plan to ensure that our community members and staff are healthy and safe upon entering the studio and throughout their in-studio experience. We added to our cleaning and other relevant procedures, here is what you can expect when visiting and receiving services at Maya:
From Our Team
- All staff have been tested for COVID-19 prior to reopening the studio
- All staff are expected to wear a cotton or disposable mask while they are in the studio.
- We have limited the number of staff members in the studio at a time, ensuring that clients only come into contact with a front desk member and their practitioner.
- During opening, closing, and every 1-2 hours a staff member will sanitize all common surfaces with CDC approved disinfectant.
Massage + Acupuncture Services
We are thrilled to partially reopen the studio for Massage and Acupuncture services!
- All acupuncture and massage clients will be required to sign a COVID-19 Consent Form prior to coming in for their appointment.
- All acupuncture and massage clients will be asked to wait in their cars and to text/call the studio upon their arrival to follow social distancing guidelines. A front desk representative will notify you when you are able to come in.
- Upon entering, a front desk team member will take check your temperature and sanitize your hands.
- Both acupuncture and massage practitioners will wear the appropriate PPE approved by state guidelines.
- Additional time after each appointment has been allocated to for added sanitization and cleaning procedures between clients.
Yoga + Pilates Classes
We continue to be grateful for your support during this time. It is our goal to continue providing you space for your mind and body, while ensuring the health and safety of our community members and staff. What We Ask of You:
We are excited to see our community again as we partially reopen the studio. To maintain safety measures, there are a few things that we ask of you during your visit the studio:
- All community members must wear cotton or disposable masks when entering the studio and during service. If you do not have one we will provide you with one.
- There will be signage throughout the studio to mandate the 6 feet social distancing, please follow these guidelines while you’re visiting the studio.
- Before visiting, we urge you to monitor any changes to your health by asking yourself screening questions that we have provided in both the acupuncture and massage tabs.
We cannot express enough how much our community means to us. We will continue to update you all through our website and social media about any changes to our operations. Please take care of yourselves and each other!
